Hydrated

It is very important that the students stay hydrated while they are at school. With the weather the way it is at the moment, please encourage your child to bring a drink bottle (of water) to school everyday for them to keep in the classroom.

Only drink bottles with WATER in them will be allowed in the classroom.

Animal Books

The animal books that we made for our homework this week in book creator will be shared with your classmates on Monday. Make sure you have them ready!

Taumarunui Shears

This afternoon we went and visited the Taumarunui Shearing Show. It was very hot in the hall but the show was good to see. A lot of us knew a lot about what was going on and so we were able to explain it to other students who didn't know what was happening.

Don't forget your togs!

Meet Toby

This is Toby.
Toby is a turtle. He is our class pet. Toby stays underwater most of the time. He has red ears.

He has a rock to sit on when he is tired of swimming. When we take him outside he runs around on the grass. He can run fast.

We need to be careful that Toby doesn't bite or scratch us. He only does this when he is annoyed.

Our class is the best in the whole school. Stay tuned to see what we get up to.
